HydroFlex, Inc. - Aaton XTR Deep Water

This housing accommodates the Aaton XTR Prod and Plus series cameras with integrated video, a 400’ magazine and on-board battery. To fit the camera in the small confines of the housing, the viewfinder block is removed. Through-the-lens video viewing allows the operator to set up the shot and still maintain peripheral vision to anticipate the action. When using the Aaton color video assist, frameline and footage information, as well as AatonCode, can be sent to the surface. A view port located over the camera left handle allows viewing the camera display window, and an additional view port located in the mid-rib allows viewing the lens settings.

The housing can accommodate the Zeiss Primes, Century 6mm, and the Optex 5.5 and 4mm lenses, the latter offering a 140º angle of view. Other lenses can also be fitted. Both flat and dome ports are included with the package. The on-board Aaton battery supplies power to the camera and the external video monitor. A single battery can allow ten magazines changes while also powering the underwater 5.6" color monitor.
