If the underwater shooting requires a camera assistant to pull focus during a shot,it is sometimes desirable to attach a follow focus whip to the focus knob on the housing. Often an underwater housing is hand-held. In this situation the assistant¹s hand directly on the focus knob of the housing can interfere with the steadiness of the shot. Use of an extended follow focus whip will alleviate this concern. The follow focus whip requires a special follow focus knob which must be requested when ordering the camera housing.
