Both mounted to a float with brackets the 35-3 RAC has the torpedo’s propeller lined up directly in the crosshairs. The float is pulled through the water and air pressure fed down from the surface spins the props and creates the bubbles. This rig was used to film the underwater portion of the “Pearl Harbor” torpedo shot.
