Arri 435 Deep Water
Incorporating many of the existing features of our HydroFlex 35-3 DW, the 435 DW is as straight forward, easy to work with, and to operate in the water. The housing is designed around a standard Arri 435 IVS with 400 ft. Arri magazines and the 12 inch viewfinder extension. Cooke, Panavision and Zeiss lenses can be fitted, and the re-designed port system can even accept the Zeiss 10mm lens with its dedicated glass port. Interchangeable flat and dome ports are provided.
Our custom viewfinder eyepiece gives the operator an easy-to-locate, large, bright image. The viewfinder port extends out beyond the back of the housing to give more room to position your mask as close as possible to the viewfinder, allowing more relief area for your regulator, for a very comfortable operating position. Both focus and iris lens controls are located on the camera left side of the front of the housing and can be easily viewed and adjusted by the operator or assistant. The housing can also be configured for the Preston Marine FI&Z hand unit allowing the camera assistant to remotely adjust the camera focus and iris underwater. For magazine and battery changes, the camera can stay attached to the front of the housing without disengaging the lens gearing. or disconnecting the cables to video and the CCU unit. The housing can also be configured for the Preston Marine FI&Z hand unit allowing the camera assistant to remotely adjust the camera focus and iris underwater. (NOTE: This option is available on select models only.)
An internal low light level witness camera and an external 2.5″ monitor have been incorporated into the system’s design to enable the assistant to see the lens data from outside the housing. Viewports have been provided for direct reading of the magazine footage counter and the camera’s digital display readout.
On-board Lithium-ion batteries provide power to the camera and can run multiple magazines without changing.
Will not accommodate the 435 Extreme with the FEM 2 Radio Module.
